February 24, 2009 LOWER SCHOOL COLLECTION FOR ANIMAL SHELTER SUCCESSFUL
In honor of the hundredth day of school, the Lower School students of Doane Academy participated in a drive to benefit the Burlington County Animal Shelter. Their goal was to collect at least 100 items. At the end of the drive, as part of the weekly 3rd and 4th grade character education class, students worked in groups to sort and count everything that had been donated. They found that they had exceeded their goal with 269 collected items! Congratulations and thank you to all that participated.
